Been There...

I never did an eight day rafting trip, but I have fished on the Colorado River just below Glen Canyon Dam at Lee's Ferry. The water is everything she says it is and a lot colder than you can imagine.

    Been there -done that! Too funny!! Drank 20 beers a day and a bottle or two of wine each night. Jack and Sandy.

    I adore that woman and her humor.
    I went to CO for the first time when I was about 15 - took a day long white water trip with a church group.

    No way to express one's real emotions without cursing, I found. "Oh, f-fah- fer crying out loud!!"

    And yes, damned cold.

    Disowned by his father for getting a doctorate in aeronautical instead of chemical engineering. My, the times they have a-changed.

    Will the upcoming generations reach this kind of achievement? Or has participating in a reality show become the new high-water mark?
