Now we've had 110 days of watching the miscreants at play in the hen house. The vilification of anyone who is successful, who makes a profit, who succeeds and enjoys it, has been incessant. The great unwashed are slavering around the scaffolds waiting for the completion of the trial so we can get on with the hangings. The evil who have been oppressing their bulbous, unproductive butts for so long are finally getting their comeuppance. Free stuff for everyone and the rich get shafted finally!
So, as capitalism gets dismantled, we get this analysis of the latest from the administration:
Closing the Offshore Loopholes
It raises the question, if a consequence is so clearly described is it still "unintended" when it actually occurs?
In the midst of that cogent analysis we also find this chilling quote:
As President Obama said, "If financial institutions won't cooperate with us, we will assume that they are sheltering money in tax havens and act accordingly."
"Assume"? Excuse us, but what about due process?
The left's bleating during the previous administration about an Imperial Presidency becomes even more laughable in the light of current events.
