If you read the stories I read you wouldn't think this program is all that efficient in execution. From what I've read it is over-budget (what else is new?) and behind schedule (as usual). According to the pilot reports I've seen it is a great airplane and the avionics are amazing. I hope the Marines will get their B model to replace the Harriers but they seem to be the only ones who want that version.
