"Quality Reporting"

Yes, there is some serious journalism taking place in the mainstream media. No softball questions or neatly phrased lead-in lines for delivery of a sound-bite. This is the real thing:

Gotta Tone Down the Rhetoric Against Me

That's right! Why when George W. Bush was president there was none of this nastiness. No one portrayed him as Hitler. No one impugned his intelligence. No one thought he was too far-reaching or "imperial." Did they?

"It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place.

I'll bet you didn't know that, did you? We're feeling that a "lot of change" needs to take place. NO! We're not! I don't want nebulous change. I want meaningful, responsible, LIMITED government. I want the Constitution placed on the front page of every piece of legislation or executive order with the words that authorize the act. Lacking that enumerated power, I want it not done. I don't want change for its own sake.

CBS Sports' lead college basketball analyst, Clark Kellogg, also shot hoops with the president and conducted an interview. The interview with the president, and the entire game, will be broadcast on Saturday during CBS Sports' exclusive live coverage of the 2010 NCAA Final Four.

That's news for you. The "game" will be broadcast and the "interview" will be aired during the Final Four!

Is there no escaping this fool? Is there no place we can go to be spared his propagandizing?
