Don't laugh; I remember Obama's speech demanding his very own ("Interior Ministry palace guard") 'civilian' army "just as heavily-armed and well-funded as the military".
I get the feeling that he had black leather jackets and berets as the uniform of choice, rather than the Grand Duchy of Fenwick kit (including halberds).
