It Is Spreading

It started simply as Occupy Wall Street, but it has grown and it seems like the Occupy Someplace movement might run into a snag if this segment grows:

Turns out most of these people - the OWS types - have jobs, not that I'd hire any of them. Wonder what sucker employers are letting them take time off for this nonsense?

What do they want, anyway?

They are likely protesting the fact that they don't have cushy, Mon-Thurs, 10:00 to 3:00 office jobs where they can take a one-hour lunch, and spend most of the rest of the day discussing the latest installment of Jon Stewart, or reminiscing about what they did to help Obama get elected (e.g., throw a pizza party).

Oh, and these jobs have to have something to do with 'making the world a better place', and not some crass, exploitative profit motive. And, they have to pay enough to cover swank uptown apartments, the latest fashion clothing, and hot cars..and lots of nights out at expensive restaurants serving exotic cuisines.

If they can't have all that, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM, AND IT MUST BE OVERTHROWN...so that visionaries who know better than the rest of us - that would be them - can take charge.

Not to worry; they know what's best for all of us dumb peasants, clinging to our guns (until they take them away) and religion (a bunch of silly superstitions that will be outlawed).
