They won't get it. They don't understand what to me is very clear language. You can tell it by their posture. I'm a bit surprised that they shut up long enough for her to have her say.
She has it exactly right, particularly in the last twenty seconds of this testimony:

One could wish someone had gone mad and taken out "all you guys up there"
She was spot dead on right.
The excellent points this articulate and beautiful woman makes underscore two truths about the gun grabbers:
1) As Michael Savage says, "Liberalism is a mental disorder." One reason Leftists dislike guns is because they are so crazy they are afraid they would turn them on themselves and/or their families if they possessed one. Yes, run that one through the projector a few times. Yes, that's right. You got it. They are nuts!
2) The right to self-defense is self evident, as the woman clearly states. Why would anyone want to take away a human being's essential right to self-defense? That's right. Because they want to make everyone into a weakling. They want everyone scared and dependent upon the state for their security and protection: In sum, they want to erect a tyranny.
She's Dr. Suzanne Hupp, DC, from the Lampasas, TX area. After her parents were killed in the Luby's murders in Killeen, TX, she became politically active. She was elected to the Texas House and became the driving force for Texas' CHL law that was signed into law by then Governor George W. Bush. regards, Alemaster
She's absolutely right. It's too bad it takes such a personal tragedy to underscore pure impenetrable common sense. And it's frightening that some still don't acknowledge what is so obviously true.
Reminds me of the time I may or may not have carried concealed in DC after trying to put myself in Dr. Hupp's shoes. I thought about how I'd feel if something awful happened to my wife in my presence while the cops were minutes away when seconds count. I try to avoid DC to prevent having to make that choice. Potential felony and the ruin of my life for exercising my Second Amendment right and responsibly protecting my family. An awful choice, but still an easy one. It's no less awful that I choose to avoid parts of my own country because the Constitution isn't recognized everywhere within its borders. Thanks to Dr. Hupp and GWB I didn't have those issues in Texas.
She's absolutely right and there is no argument otherwise.
