Fat Lady Sings in Chicago

As Dandy Don Meredith used to say in the fourth quarter on Monday Night Football, "Say good-night. The party's over." Apparently the bloom is off the rose in Chicago where the flagship newspaper offers this editorial advice:

Don't Run--Avoid Embarrassment

Steve Chapman makes a good point when he writes:
But there is good news for the president. I checked the Constitution, and he is under no compulsion to run for re-election. He can scrap the campaign, bag the fundraising calls and never watch another Republican debate as long as he's willing to vacate the premises by Jan. 20, 2013.
Now that's funny.

It is indeed a bad day when the Chicago Pravda starts to make suggestions that you not run again.

I think old Billery has a few too many skeletons in her closet to get very far. I still remember the Rose Law Firm. I liked the first part of the article though.

Obama has destroyed Hillary Clinton's chances because she is his Secretary of State. That Arab Spring is turning into a five alarm fire. Then there is that now infamous Reset button she gave Putin. Plus other foreign policy blunders. But it is a sure sign of Democrat desperation that they are looking for Hillary, with all of her issues, to act as their white knight and rescue them from Obama.

Hey, that's your side saying that Leadfoot. Frankly, we on the conservative side would just as soon every elected official on the extreme left got turned out. I don't think Hillary is going to get too many of our votes should she run.

The problem with you guys is that Mitt Romney is on the extreme left.
