Timing Is Of The Essence

Timing in life is so very important. That's why this item hits two strikes at once:

Back & Forth To Pakistan

I would think that a Pakistani who comes to this country and becomes a naturalized citizen then during the current unpleasantness takes a nice long trip to the homeland would get some attention. A couple of months doesn't seem too hostile, until you add that he identified himself as Kashmiri when he traveled--a region of terrorist breeding grounds. And, his extended visit was to Peshawar, right up there in al-Qaeda country:

The Linkages Unfold

A Pakistani government source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told TIME on Tuesday that the suspect had had ties with militants while in Pakistan. "He was here at a training camp," the source said.

At that point you begin to start asking the question, "what does it take to make that exclusive terrorist no-fly list"? Do you have to get a Jihadi membership card?

Just so you don't worry though, the crack DHS caught up with the problem on Monday--two days after the Nissan Pathfinder was smoking in the square. They put him on the list then. Thank God!

But, how then did he get on board the airplane several hours after making the list and was actually taxiing out before they caught up with him?

I wonder if Big Sis Napolitano is going to tell us that the system worked perfectly again?

Well, based on my father's experience, making the list requires being old, white, blind in one eye, diabetic, walking with a walker and sitting down to rest every 50 yards or so.
