Lisa Jackson is the Obama-appointed director of the EPA, the environmental watchdogs of the federal government. Is she qualified to do that job? Well, I can't judge, but I recall vividly at roughly two months into the Deepwater Horizon fiasco, she sallied forth outside the beltway to visit the Gulf Coast where her minions dutifully found a tar ball for her, at which point she exclaimed, "Wow, it sure is sticky!"
Now, apparently someone gave her the Cliff-notes on Grapes of Wrath and she's going to protect us from a future with dust in it.
EPA To Regulate Dust--"No Till Days" Coming in Kansas. Western Desert to Be Vacuumed
I wonder how that will effect cattle ranchers. Maybe ticketing of cows that run too fast and cause dust to rise. Stampedes will be taboo. August afternoons downwind of the White Sands in New Mexico will be abolished. Plowing will only be allowed on rainy days and wheat combines will be abandoned in favor of total hand-picking using only SEIU registered illegal aliens who can prove they have no papers.

Wow - that is just scary stupid. Common sense used to be pretty common, now it appears to be nearly extinct. Sad...sigh.
