But, if you are going to go on television nationally and you're going to spin a yarn about heroism and war injury and combat trauma then somebody is going to check you out.
America's Got Talent and Liars Too
This from TMZ says it all:
We asked Tim to prove it really happened. He said he received treatment at a military medical facility in Afghanistan before being transferred to a medical center in Landstuhl, Germany. Tim says he was then transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He did not produce any documents to support his claim.Yep, another one of those super-secret mission types who can't release his records because they are highly classified. Nobody in his unit knew he was wounded. Who then picked him up and brought him out? How did he avoid the routine issuance of a Purple Heart?
Tim says he plans to sue his ex-wife and several others for telling the media he was lying.
We asked Tim for ANY hard proof to back his claims -- he gave us nothing, saying he can't release pics or documents for legal reasons. So we gotta ask ...
These people are simply disgusting. When you've offended Howard Stern, you're really at the championship level for slime-crawling maggots.

What a damn shame...I think he might have made it on talent alone. Now he's screwed himself royally. I don't understand why people persist in lying about their military service. Just having served is heroic in my book.

I don't understand why people continue to inflate their military service. Just having served seems pretty admirable to me.
Obviously I am having difficulty with this seemingly simple process of publishing my comments...I didn't intend to make the same comment twice. Just goes to show you can teach an old Marine...you just can't teach him much.
