Israel Worries Rightly

There is nothing subtle about the threat to Israel. It isn't diplomatic nuance in the slightest. It is blatant statements denying the state's right to exist, stating an intent to attack with nuclear weapons, implementing an ongoing policy of infiltration, terrorism, and sabotage. It is serious, deadly and existential in the most foundational sense of that word.

That's why this is so serious and to the point:

Obama Rivals Carter For Fumbling Policy

Carter's weakness led to the seizure of our embassy in Teheran, the collapse of an emerging modern nation in the Middle East and the embarrassment of the debacle at Desert One and 444 days of hostages. The outcome of that bungling has not lessened over the last 30 years. The problem of a rogue theocratic state in the region has deteriorated to major crisis proportion.

But the Messiah's policy, speeches, apologies and negotiation from a position of weakness has now laid a framework for disaster which dwarfs the Carter escapade. Whereas Carter screwed up a country, Obama now has set us on the path to screw up an entire quarter of the globe and thereafter insure the failure of the remainder.

Where is there a counselor to help him out of this morass? Can we last two more years without a course correction? Would it help if he adopted a Carteresque "Rose Garden Strategy" and simply dropped out of sight?

It would be best if Obamy dropped out of sight.

I can imagine a few spots where he should go, immediately, if not sooner.

Can Obama be wrong everytime? Even a Thud driver hits the target once in awhile.
