Every Picture Tells a Story

The headline shouldn't be a surprise to anybody except the Bamster, the Veep, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Anybody outside of the party hierarchy and/or inside the business community would expect it. You can't threaten taxes, impose restrictive and arbitrary regulations, redistribute wealth to the unproductive and foster an unstable global economy while still creating jobs.

The monthly report shows few jobs created and the acknowledged unemployment rate up to 9.2%.

But that isn't what this item is about. This is about this picture. It says a lot about why we are where we are today. Can you read the story told here:
What do I see?

The good news is that I see a nuclear family. I see a male who didn't hit and run when responsibility arose.

But what are the negatives?

Who is at the computer? Who is seeking a job? Who apparently has the computer skills to access the opportunity databases?

How is he dressed? You aren't a credible job seeker with your hat on backwards, your three day beard, your designer glasses jauntily on the back of your head. Holding the baby while mama looks for work and you can't wait to get back to the couch or chilling with your homies isn't feeding the baby or the bulldog.

We've got a society without class, without awareness, without training or ambition or skills. And the exception here in the picture is that at least he stuck around.

Every picture tells a story, don't it?

You're right, I take a look at that picture and my first thought was "Doesn't look like anybody is hiring ditch diggers". Even Ronnie Mac's has a dress code.

I think you're inferring an awful lot from a picture.

Maybe he's the one that already HAS the job. Half of my staff look like that outside of the office, and we're not what you'd call "unprofessional."
