Buyer's Remorse

Act in haste, repent in leisure? It sure looks that way. I rail continuously, to the point of boredom possibly, about the inability of the electorate to understand issues or bestow their support rationally. Never has it been more apparent than in the last eighteen months with the election of the Messiah, the multi-trillion dollar spending spree, the nationalization of major financial and industrial segments of our society and, of course, healthcare.

Want evidence? Here's plenty to demonstrate that the great grabber element of our society didn't have a clue about what they were getting:

Where's My Free Doctor?

Apparently the caves of the Morlocks did not receive the news programs that discussed in great detail the fact that the Healthcare Reform Law imposed the costs for four years before delivering the first of the services.

Those of us likely to pay noted the breakdown, but the grasping horde didn't. Now they want to know where the pony is.

Face it Slug, there ain't no pony.

You know I don't know why we went away from the original intent, that ONLY "Educated Land Owners" had a vote, the idea that every moron and leach had an equal say is silly to me. Those who wish to be parasitic and live off the hard work of others will always vote for those who will give them the fruits of someone elses labors. The only people who should be eligable to vote is those men and women who actually produce and PAY INTO the tax system, those who live off entitlements should not be voting...until they start pulling their own weight. We may still have gotten Pelosi, Reid and Obama but I don't think that many of the current socialists would manage to get elected.
