Grace Under Pressure

Ever wonder what it takes to become a senior flag-rank officer in the US Military? It takes grace under pressure. It takes the ability to keep a straight face in trying circumstances. It takes the self-control to not laugh out loud and say, "Are you f***ing crazy?"

Of course if you spend much time watching the results of democracy in America as manifested by our voting choices for Congress you must get used to it.

If this is the best we can do, we are in serious trouble.

The Congressman is ill. How-some-ever, Mark Steyn summed it up nicely on NRO when he said it speaks volumes to the quality of our Congress "that plea is entered in mitigation rather than as grounds for retirement".

Seems the Neo Neocon managed to figure out this deadpan - hell, just dead - humor.

Funny? Maybe. Wrong venue? Damned straight.
