Somebody Doesn't Get It

Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm the one too dense to understand. I try to comprehend what Eric Holder is griping about. I look at the complaint and come away wondering where the problem is.

Let's recap. There is federal law which prohibits illegal immigration. There are processes for legal immigration, but there are federally prohibited methods of entering the country. Crawling through the desert after wading the Rio Grande is illegal. That much is clear.

There are a load of illegals here already. The estimates range from 12 to 20 million. We don't know who they are, so we can't round them up and make any sort of arrangement to deal with the problems. It is increasingly apparent that the border states are suffering increasing law enforcement issues with illegals engaged in violence, drug smuggling and human trafficking. Federal agencies are unable to enforce the border laws and in many cases actively ignoring them.

A problem exists and Arizona has enacted a state law which provides support for federal agencies tasked with enforcing federal law. It is carefully crafted and specifically prohibits racial profiling. It requires a law enforcement officer to seek evidence of legal residence only after apprehension for another offense. It defines what constitutes evidence and does NOT demand immigration documents. It is satisfied with a driver's license, social security card, picture ID or similar common identification which any of us would be required to produce for a traffic stop.

Obama Ignores The People and Flaunts the Law

Now, I could understand the panty wad of Holder et. al. if Arizona were attempting actions which were counter to federal law. I would be supportive if Arizona were resisting federal enforcement efforts. I might get it if Arizona were not fully cooperating with federal officials as they might also do without problem for drug enforcement, RICO operations, mail fraud, bank robbery, prostitution or a myriad of other criminal activities.

But, this is an election year and the unwashed masses remain clueless and emotional. The Messiah feeds on that. Sort of like a vampire, that way.

Ummmm...Ed? It's not you that's exhibiting density beyond belief. These folks have got to be more dense than osmium.

"I have my agenda, and nothing else matters. Not right, not wrong, not the will of the people. For I am *The Chosen.*"

(Barry hasn't actually said it yet, but that's the gist of it.)

Just sayin'.

I truly admire bold men who can look into the eyes of a tiger with a smile on their face.

Hope you find the fortitude to keep on telling truth to the dolts.
