More Than One Born Every Minute

What would you consider entertainment? Would it be a self-centered lunatic with serious drug problems, a delusional world-view and a penchant for prostitutes?

Walk-Outs, Refunds, and Ridicule

Why this woman would give her real name for publication with her statement escapes me:

Linda Fugate, who paid $150 for two seats, left the theater and walked up the street, yelling, "I want my money back!"

"I was hoping for something. I didn't think it would be this bad," said Fugate, a 47-year-old from Lincoln Park, Michigan.
Seriously? What did you think you were going to get for $150? Are you really so stupid at 47 years old?

The answer is, in a word, yes.

In 1995, Henley wrote/sang "This year notoriety got all confused with fame" in The Garden of Allah. [Stupid] people will pay outrageous sums of money to see someone, simply because they've seen them on a TV or movie screen. In 2000's Inside Job CD - "It's too long we've been living these unexamined lives."

Well today Socrates surely weeps, as these days most wouldn't even know what an examined life is, much less how to live it.

Welcome to Jackass Nation!

She walked up the street yelling that she wanted her money back?

Who did she think was going to give her any money out there? The Obama Stimulus Fairy?
