The 26th Amendment to the US Constitution gave 18-year-olds the vote. The fear was that they were too immature to vote and would by default therefore vote Democratic. Those fears were unfounded as the result is that they simply don't bother to vote in great numbers anyway.
So, here we have some high school students in Washington state who are either old enough to vote or will be soon:
Well, we can't really expect them to be all that smart after only twelve years of education in the American public education system can we?

But they know important things like, Rich people suck and everyone should be given everything they need, and the USA has caused so many problems around the world and Madonna was awesome at the Superbowl... :P

When I first watched it, I wanted to laugh at the students, but we should probably weep for them instead - they've been failed by so called 'educators'.
God help us.
I wonder if the administrators and teachers at that school could even pass E. D. Hirsch, Jr.'s Cultural Literacy test?
Or if they've even heard of it...
Those kids have been failed first by so-called "parents."
If a family is not interested in education and plays no role in imparting knowledge to kids, then the kids are highly likely to care little either.
