Fort Hood shooting has left 12 dead and 31 wounded. But, this just in from ABC News gives me pause:

Lt Gen Cone announced in a news conference at Ft. Hood that Major Hasan was wounded, is alive, in the hospital, in custody, and death is not imminent. Major Hasan's cousin says he has always been a Muslim. Col. Terry Lee[ret] on Hannity said Hasan had espoused disturbing views like Muslims should not fight Muslims and even made false claims of religious harassment.
Profiling should indeed be re-examined as a legitimate too.
How could the people who worked and lived around this guy not have known....a real tragedy.
However our Acting Commander in Chief managed to flip the finger to Mena nd Women in uniform once again with his light hearted and callous reaction when he was given the news.
What a disgrace the man is.
