They dissect her every statement for error. They want the gaffe for the record. They thought they had one, but apparently they didn't:

When even the historians of the Boston area are confirming her interpretation you've got to wonder who the state Democratic Party hopes to convince.

Thanks for the link! I had a little exchange with a foolish daughter yesterday, concerning this. (Despite her husband's recent return from his second tour in Afghanistan.)
"Dad, did you see your dope, Palin, screwed up her history again - this time about Paul Revere!"
"No, I didn't see that; I did see a news clip of her recounting the ride, though."
"Yeah, she said it was bells, instead of lamps in the church steeple."
"Hey - I had to memorize that poem in the third or fourth grade, too. There's a reason why it starts 'Listen my children and you shall hear . . .' - it's a kid's parable about history. Washington didn't chop down a cherry tree, either!"
"Lemme talk to Mom; you think Cheney was a good guy !"
