Show and Tell

This is going to get good...

Raptors Nesting

Oh it was gorgeousness and gorgeosity made flesh. The trombones crunched redgold under my bed, and behind my gulliver the trumpets three-wise silverflamed, and there by the door the timps rolling through my guts and out again crunched like candy thunder. Oh, it was wonder of wonders. And then, a bird of like rarest spun heavenmetal, or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now, came the violin solo above all the other strings, and those strings were like a cage of silk round my bed. Then flute and oboe bored, like worms of like platinum, into the thick thick toffee gold and silver. I was in such bliss, my brothers.

I'm really surprised someone in the present administation grew the balls for this. I'm sure some advisor figured this would buy a few votes and he went along with it.

Methinks that some of the Emirs made a stink to the State Department about being 'unprotected' from the possibility of Iranian fighters overhead soon.

I'll even bet that the loons at State made promises of immediate US coverage without consulting DoD (again!).
I saw it happen once before (early '80s) when they told an African king they could have a fighter squadron 'on the (Air Defense) job' there, within 24 hours. We made it happen, (in tents!) no thanks to State.

It's probably about time that one of the new-equipment TAC/ACC units had a mobility exercise - and actually went someplace - anyway!
