Call the International Sheriff

I suspect that they've got too much time on their hands over at the United Nations. It looks as though they sit around all day thinking up cool sounding titles for each other and then they play out fantasy games where they imagine what life in their vision of utopia would be like.

We Need a Report On the Facts

Don't you really love those important sounding designations?
U.N. special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions
Is that impressive enough to get you a table at Le Cirq? How about this one:
special rapporteur on protecting human rights while countering terrorism
Do you suppose either of those guys have any actual experience in "countering terrorism"? Like have they gotten mud on their boots somewhere stopping a jihadi or two?

"However, the norm should be that terrorists be dealt with as criminals, through legal processes of arrest, trial and judicially-decided punishment,"
Who established that "norm" and when? Have they been talking to Eric Holder? Frankly, I think that terrorists who freely admit they are at war against the civilized world are far worse than criminals. I think these fine gentlemen's "norms" are a bit abnormal.

To think I used to think (15-20 years ago) that people with those "US out of the UN" bumper stickers were extreme! With the benefit of hindsight and maybe growing grumpier with age, how the hell could I have thought that an unreasonable sentiment? I don't hang around people anymore that like the UN. Life's too short.

Every time a terrorist gets double-tapped by a SEAL, an angel gets his SIG Sauer P226.

Ugh this means I have to "Support the Obama Administration" *sigh* How bad is it that you have to support an administration you abhor when the opposition is the cluster f*ck that is the UN.

Dunn I have it from reliable sources that the Angels prefer the Sig P220 in .45 to the euro pellet 9mm ;)
